Meditative Nature Walks
Walking in nature has so many positive effects on the body, mind and soul. It lightens your load, helping you to deal with the everyday situations and stress that a busy life throws at you.
It is a natural approach to well-being, bringing healing and wonderment back to the individual, boosting their health and happiness.
Walking outside in nature allows you to be yourself, with no distractions, giving you time to contemplate your inner and outer world.
Each individual sense is awakened as you start to explore this beautiful, abundant earth, that so many of us have cut ourselves off from. I encourage time out in nature whenever I can to whomever I can as there are so many positive benefits.
I guide you on a walking meditative journey through the natural world, working with breath, delighting your senses and facilitating meditative practises along the way. Allowing you to be mindful in the moment and connecting with the energy that surrounds us.
‘I have been lucky enough to have always spent a lot of time outside in nature. Growing up in countryside, helping my parents with picking vegetables or hindering them with the amount I put in my mouth (why is it freshly shelled peas taste so good?) fishing and falling in streams, building dens and camping out. Going on long woodland walks and noticing and loving the changes of the seasons. Taking a keen interest in the animals, birds, insects, plants and flowers around me and always being immensely grateful for their existence. This is, I’m sure, what kept me balanced and happy.
In my late teens when I was building my first business and working all the hours imaginable, I omitted walking from my daily routine as I didn’t have enough time! I became overwhelmed, exhausted and emotional and it was very clear how walking in nature and meditative walking is an excellent coping and restorative discipline. I have walked daily since, building in my meditative practise, staying present and always making time! When it is something this important to your health and well being you can always find time’!
